Menstrual Cycle Disorders

Generally, the menstrual cycle occurs approximately 28 days, although not always. Sometimes the cycle occurs every 21 days until the 35th day. However, some women have an abnormal menstrual cycle. What are the disorders that?

- Polimenorea
Polimenorea menstrual cycle is shorter than usual (less than 21 days clean cycle or period without menstrual blood is less than two weeks). In layman can be seen as menstruation that occurs twice or more in a month. Number of bleeding may be the same or more than normal menstruation. The causes include hormonal disorders that menstrual cycles become shorter.

- Oligomenorea
This is a menstrual cycle longer than 35 days. Bleeding on oligomenorea usually less than normal size. The causes include hormonal disorders, and psychological effects of certain diseases such as tuberculosis.

- Amenorrhoea
Amenorrhoea is the absence of menstruation for three consecutive months. Divided into two: primary amenorrhoea is when women aged 18 years and over have never got your period at all. The cause is genetic or anatomical abnormalities.

Secondary amenorrhoea if this woman ever get your period but then stopped. The cause is a disorder of malnutrition, metabolism, tumor, infectious diseases, and so forth.
